You can use the 'lasso tool' or any other 'area select' type tool to get that effect, most image editing software either has it or something similar (it might have a different name depending on the program). You'd need to draw a selection around the parts of the car that you want to "stick out", then delete the remaining image from behind it. In this case the car doesn't go "outside" the image, but rather the image has been cropped independent of the car.

Use an AI background remover (such as Adobe) to clear the background from the car. Then paste it into the original image file so that you get a clean PNG of just your car. Now you have a perfect layer of just the car with no background, and can adjust accordingly.
