6677 has a pretty good track record for being right when it comes to tech, so I wouldn't mess with him.... Plus, you sound like an apple fanboy
That's pretty funny. I've used Apple computers way too much. My school district, like almost every other public school in America uses Apple products almost exclusively. They're awful, overpriced pieces of junk. Of course, the engineering department and any of the other departments that need to actually be able to run programs and use operating systems that almost all industries use have PCs. A Mac just can't reasonably be comparable to a PC.
Chromebooks are now replacing the Macs. I personally prefer the Chromebooks, but PC's are far better.
Apple Macs, oh dear god, not again. Apple underclock Mac performance down so that they can run them more cool due the design. If you pop in a game to it, it will run badly, barely or not at all, especially if it's a heavy game like this. If you OC your Mac to gain the regular performance out of the hardware, you'll just melt the whole Mac.
Chromebooks are fine... For school/work use. They run perfectly fine, if all you use it a browser. And google offers substitutes for most more windows applications. Chromebooks are also compatible with android apps most of the time.
A friend of mine has a MacBook. She can play WoT at a fair framerate and plans on getting a windows emulator to run this game, though I am not personally sure how it'll handle the game. The performance and hard drive space don't even come close to my ASUS laptop, but the thing that really kills me is the price. Her MacBook, one year newer than mine and lacking a touch screen (which I find surprisingly useful to have), costs 50% more than mine did.
im just saying that it is possible to run most games on mac once you install windows. sure they arent as fast as a pc at the same price but i never said that. i sound like a fanboy for pointing something like this out - something that anyone with access to google could find out in a few minutes if he took the time? depends on the type of work. most artists use mac exclusively. my father runs an architecture firm and they use macs for all the planing work. overpriced? yes. you pay a lot extra for the design and the brand name. but that doesnt make them junk. i do feel like talking against a wall here so i will just drop it. i can only say that in my experience of having used both windows and mac i have liked both.
