BeamNG Inaugural Cinematic Clip Contest

Here is my video. I decided to focus on what the game comes with and the hundreds of hours of work put into it by the devs. I did not use any mods at all. I chose the music because it was the original music used for the Cryengine3 showcase in 2012. Thank you for a wonderful game! This was uploaded at 11:58 CEST. I updated the post later though. Also sorry about the frame rate and stuttering. My PC is not the greatest. EDIT: Please still let me enter, my video got removed some how and I had to reupload it!

i have been thinking, they said the computer specs doesnt matter, so everyone could participate, but people who have monstruous computer with i9 980666XXULTRAMEGAPOWER with graphics card GTXGTIRSSPORT4096TI Unlocked overclocked idk, with 1TB of ram, motherboard MAXIMUS extreme XII, these people can pump up the graphic to maximum(making the cinematic look much ''cleaner''), AND spawn 10 to 20 cars and still have 144 FPS with their 1080mhz monitor. What i want to mean is: more cars, better map = better cinematic movie, more action. You cant really record 2 cars with 15 fps and really low graphics, its not gonna look cool, im pretty sure most of people who have a low end computer that can only run GridMap at 29 fps probably had some fantastic cinematic shots ideas, but they were limited by their computers. Anyway, it was really nice that this contest allowed everyone to participate, so everyone had the experience of participating, im really happy that i participated something of favorite game!

well there is some truth to this, I'm not gonna deny this.

I just wanted to tell you that until last month I had a PC that could barely run the game (30-45 fps with 2 cars on utah).

Despite this I was doing a lot of cinematics and I still managed to get my channel to 50k subscribers.

Trust me, although a high-end PC is very very helpful, you can still do great cinematics.

To put it in a nutshell, a good PC doesn't make you automatically the best filmmaker.
(I'm not claiming that I'm a good one, I'm still learning )

 

dont worry i was not talking only about you, there are many other PCMASTERNUCLEARRACE2018REDUX guys XD, i was actually trying to say something, i wont reply some submissions here because that would be very jackassy of me, but, compare your submission with some other that have low graphic and bad fps, which one you think has more chance? your video runs at 120-140-200-400 fps and, well imma use my own submission to compare, my entire video is around 28-30 fps, it also has 2/3 of the settings on low. you can tell my fps is bad by the car ''teleporting'' when the camera goes with the car at the same speed.
(pleasne i need a better pc i wish i could play gta sa adreas at 40 fps)

true, though you used a city map with many shadows, that might have affected your fps performance, the part where your car lags is probably when you used the free cam, I've noticed some shots where you used the relative cam that were pretty smooth.

btw there is a trick to get high fps and good quality for videos, just record a clip in slow motion, then speed it up in post-production.
