If my intel CPU at 1.6Ghz was struggling with 1 D15 down to 24 fps, imagine an AMD APU core at a slightly faster speed of 1.75Ghz.
And I think you sound like an EggsBox fanboy . Let me comfort you, all current gen consoles are crappy in terms of pure horsepower compared to even a mid-range PCs .
Considering Xbone/PS4 ram is 8GB for EVERYTHING wouldn't it make sense that a game like Beamng could never run without at least another 6GB to handle the code re-write/emulation scheme for even one vehicle? That's not even getting into the AMD architecture these consoles have.
Nope... I'm not a fanboy. Just because I own one doesn't make me a fanboy. I also own an Android Phone, an iPad and a Windows Computer. And if PSN is running in the future I'll own a PS4 next. So no fanboy here. I'm just interested in Code optimization. Gesendet von meinem GT-I9505 mit Tapatalk
I asked the same question myself, Could BeamNG be played on the Xbox One or PlayStation 4? Well, as the owner of an AMD APU, with very similar cores to the Jaguar cores used in the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, So i downclocked to 1.8 Ghz and recorded my results. I recorded an average of 14.76 FPS with the Pigeon on Gridmap. So in short, no. It would be very difficult to get it to run on either console.
