Haha yeah, the scale is unmodified but Burnout cars seem to have a larger scale. I am aiming on making the map optimized in the same way as Burnout, in theory it should work but BeamNG isn't perfect.
BeamNG's engine won't back down if your PC is screaming for help. I could imagine seeing a very popular YouTuber making crash comps or people like YBR just reviewing it at 7fps.
The max I can get on a current beta on lowest graphics settings is about 25FPS with a car loaded, and about 100 with no car... so.... Don't drive on this map.
Lol I told you so. However, that can be kinda icky for some people that don't have a Beefy computer. The funny thing is, Burnout Paradise was made in 2009, but you "imported" and the map takes up all the GPU. I actually suggest removing the small things. Ie: make buildings hollow, tone down the amountage of trees from BeamNG (prop) because those are silent killers, remove textures that aren't SUPPOSED to be seen by the player, make some props (for example: the litter in the junkyard where you get cars in the beginning of the game) 4 point textures, remove functioning traffic lights, and advise people to use performance optimization settings or download mods.
In the original games there were ways to reduce lag, we currently only have a large portion of the normal map (in full detail) working in the editor, however eventually (we hope that) we can import other things from the original game to reduce lag
A beta is a beta. Don't go off what any of my testers say about the "beta", because that will not be close to what the final product will prove. I'm currently in the optimizing stage and can reassure you that this map will run 60fps on most PCs. Porting is a completely different process, and the lag is CPU-based due to too many polygons being rendered at once. Since the game is from 2009, most of the models are already low quality and BeamNG can handle it well. If you go play the demo, you can experience what the game runs at with no optimization in an area that will be rendered in the full map.
Was bored so I created this ahead of time. I plan on having a button in the main menu that takes you to a whole new UI and experience, just for BeamNG Paradise.
I put a new poll up. Vote on it not that you guys will respond or anything, but instead like this message

I mostly go against Automation mods as it doesn't fit well, but if it's something exceptionally good then I will add it. Check the link on the bottom of the first page to submit pictures.
We are currently on the optimization process, which brings us close to the release of the first public beta. The first beta will probably be here and on bngparadise.com before the end of this year
