BeamNG Updates For To Long

    Steam Is Updateing My Game. And Then It Sayed More Than ONE YEAR! I was shocked. Enybody kowns what Is going on?

    Could be high disk/cpu/network usage. Probably high disk usage from my experience, check with the task manager.

    Estimated times are always off the chart, especially in the last part of an update process, since it depends from how fast your PC is able to prepare the files.
    Just wait a little bit.

    Honestly, if your update hasn't told you it will take at least a century yet to update a game, you haven't even come close to my level yet. Naturally it never has taken that long... but it seems to think it will almost every time... just keep it running, it will be fine.

    Oh I have the same problem, and I found a fix!

    Fixing my sh** as* Walmart connexion helps!
    Btw joking here, but it might help if that's really the case.

    last year I had an update for an black ops 3 mod it said it would take 231 years to download fixed it just restarted steam fixed it then it only took 10 mins to download

    At first, I thought this was a complaint on how slow BeamNG updates take (dev-wise). Yeah, it's just Steam being good ol' totally not slow a** steam. Just be patient, like everyone else has said.

    it's tuesday. maintenance tuesday. steam always has maintenance on tuesday. do not expect steam to work 100% of the time on a tuesday.
