I think I've figured out why I'm rebooting. My PSU probably has a heat problem. It's buried in carpet.
:| Flip it so it intakes from the case. Also clean out any dust from it. Trust me, having a PSU die from dust/heat is no fun.
Just do the thing to the thing, which will move the thing, and then the other thing will rotate with many other things. Then screw the thing back into the thing, plug everything back into the thing and flip the on switch of the thing.
Before school I started FaH for my GPU only. It's doing about 44k PPD. I forget if that's good or not.
Yeah, it was for sure the PSU overheating. It's been folding for a full day now. So glad I don't need to RMA anything. I'd gotten tired of that. I might even overclock some.
Hey guys, I just wanted to say great job. Not only have we so far beat our previous best month by 1 million points but we are this |-| close to breaking 50m points total. Awesome job!
When your water cooled CPU folds hotter than your GPU that might be a sign you need to back off your overclock. 67c CPU and 63c GPU.
Turns out I was slamming my CPU with a non F@H process (dang you raptr) and was decreasing PPD. Fixed that and got a MAGICAL FRIKKEN 7505 WORKUNIT! 375k PPD. Expect to see my PPD way up if I keep getting these. They might be a replacement for bigadv. EDIT: Probably bugged
Apart from the fact if that was buggy, if it was bigadv those units they stopped being allowed on anything under something like 16 threads I believe it was at the least. Edit: this is also the first time in a while I have been able to fold consistently without my gpu artifacting in a long time, things are still going well and no problems so far
I've got an IDEA! I'm a few days late, but febuary is here. Month of love and pink crap right? Well, it also happens to be exactly 4 weeks long. I'd say that's a solid 28 days (minus a few now) to have a fold-off! I think a lot of people skip over this thread since it's stickied. Maybe we should make another one to advertise to the general public?
I'm foldin baby. On the low profile HP I have running as a server. 1771 PPD. Good news is that the CPU is only running 42c. It's something. I need to fold on my desktop. Or find a way to cram one of my GPUs into this thing. - - - Updated - - - My GPUs are saying they'll take 10 and 86 days to complete their work units. 15k PPD, which is mostly the CPU. Why?
It should improve once you complete a few. Needs time to calibrate to your system. Do you have bonus enabled?
