Glad to have ya! Once school starts I'll start folding again. Right now it is too hot and I'm using my computer too much to be bothered by folding right now.
I'm planning on buying a laptop and donating my hardware to somebody who can maintain it folding 24/7.
I don't think my parents would take kindly to yet -another- high-end PC running all day <_< and I doubt they would be so accepting of taking hardware from a random internet person >_>
Besides my parents general fear of internet strangers I'd be able to keep it going. Power bill might necessitate some summertime underclocking though. My GPU is having driver issues but wil be back up once I figure it out. I'm stuck on CPU folding until then though. Also, as I type this I am seeing slight corruption on my iPhones screen and it's lagging out. I'll give it a reboot but I'm suddenly worried. Also, welcome iheartmods. It's been a while since we've had a new member. Also been a little since I've been active here. Band camp and a new school year are taking a bit of my time.
You guys didn't really think I'd be shipping 100000 pounds of computer to another country did you? It's going to a friend locally.
I'd like to see how my CPU does in terms of PPD over my old A8. Unfortunately, NCIX decided to ship my new PSU from California instead of NY and the 3 day shipping I paid extra for is estimated to take 5 days. I also got some cheap air filters off eBay since my PSU intake is the only intake on my case that doesn't already have a filter.
Folding pretty much full time. Sometimes leave PC on over night. Sometimes not. It's running at ~73k pdd on average. Haven't been gaming much, so it's folding pretty much as long as the rig is on.
You'll never get as many WUs as I have. Downloading FaH right now. I need to get back to 9th place.. - - - Updated - - - Yay. Almost 110k PPD total (12k on CPU, was like 3k with my A8)
Nubs, I'm back! I'd been stuck on my CPU only but now I'm back to full speed. School starts in a week () so I'll be folding even more soon. Add the fact that I might get a 7970 and cool weather and I think I'll be back up to my 150k ppd fairly soon. 100k is more average right now. - - - Updated - - - I remember a while back I said we were nearing 25m points as a team. Well, we passed that and are now getting closer to 28m! (And 5k WU's) Awesome job guys!
Okay so I found this thread today and started Folding @ Work 8250 ppd on medium setting with CPU (Intel Xeon E3-1225 V2 @ 3.2 GHz) & GPU (Quadro 410) 7271 ppd on my Laptop CPU (Intel i7-3540M @ 3GHz) After work I'll see what I can do with my gaming pc €dit: 22595 ppd on my gaming PC
