Hm, I'm no good with sounds either, or even modding for that matter. Guess we have to find someone

I think we should revert back to sbeam for the sounds so we can add in our own custom sounds rather than using defaults. Also, it seems that the engine wont start unless the truck is rolling

I think the old version is still overall better than my version which has many bugs that idk how to fix, so working on the old one makes more sense. I just wanted to try if I could make the mod work with the new powertrain system instead of the old, because the old doesn't allow for reusing vanilla sounds, that's why I made the new one.

I think that we could work off of your earlier updated version as that has the new features you've added. I think if we get the sounds right, this is going be like a new vehicle
    --- Post updated ---
I've put together some sort of mess of new sounds. They're not the best but I think they're better than the previous defaults that were used. I've never done any modding like this so that's the reason why it sounds off. When redlining the sound kind of glitches out and makes weird noises but if you stay below it sounds alright. If some gears were implemented (I know the Belaz works differently with motors, this is just because of how BeamNG works), the sounds wouldn't be bad because you wouldn't be constantly redlining

Well, in real life the vehicle doesn't have any gears. Instead there could be a soft rev limiter that's slightly below the redline.

That sounds ideal. That's the problem i've constantly had with the Belaz is how it always goes to the redline when you press the accelerator, it's unrealistic

I assume that's just how the electric motors on it work irl

If it has electric motor, why it has fuel tanks?!

Did you even read the previous messages?????
The powertrain system is really complex and impossible to recreate in BeamNG, there are 2 massive V16 Diesel engines attached to electric generators that power 4 electric motors in the axles.

Basically it's like a diesel locomotive, right?

More specifically, a DEMU. Diesel-Electric Multiple Unit. Uses an engine to charge a motor or something like that

But there’s diesel electric locomotives for this game so it should be possible.

They don't really work like diesel electric but more like full diesel

I was able to partially fix the engine sounds in Belaz. Files should not duplicate anymore. Come on, the engine is still loud and I'm working on turning it down and the engine not turning off.

This is just the original Belaz with fixed textures which never had any sound problems in the first place?

This is Belaz (re-uploaded), I don't have Belaz create natiq kamal though I would like to because the engine is silent enough to play normally and you would only need to remove the logo and you can publish it. Though your and Agent_Y versions of Belaz are also commendable.

But as I wrote above, the logo can be removed somehow, you just have to dig a bit in the files or the easiest way is to download Belaz (re-uploaded) and replace the sound folder and you don't have to worry about copyright.
