Outdated Better Sounds Mod [5.1.1] works with 0.18.0.1

I don't get how you setup the brake squeal and the car alarm, whenever I open up the Custom UI app it doesn't show up, or do you mean something else, please reply, I really want this mod to work, but if you can't, it's good.

That's the only problem I have.

 

Does the other features of the mod work fine ? If yes this bug may happen if you installed an older version of the mod, you can try renaming the file uiapps-layouts.json in C:\Users\???\Documents\BeamNG.drive\settings. This will reset your In-game apps interface !

 

I tried renaming the file, and no I do not have older versions of this mod, and yes all of the other sounds work.

So my problem is the mod works fine. However the UI apps Is there one or two and if there are supposed to be two they both say B instead of one being A and the other B. may be me but just looking.

 

You mean the app instead of (A) (B) you have (B) (B) ? I never had this problem, maybe try the clear your game cache

 

I have some important news for people using my mod, I will probably stop developing this mod at the next update, so 0.15 will probably be the last time I will update the mod since I don't even use it myself anymore. BeamNG devs added almost everything my mod was doing to the game (and that's a good point !).
I'm not stopping modding on this game, I am working on another (bigger) project, I don't know if this project will come out one day but I hope it will. Thanks to people that helped me to make the mod

 

This is what happened to me after the beamng 0.15 update. Do you know anything about this? I really want to use this mod, but i can't. BTW this happens even with all other mods disabled.

I don't find a way to fix it for now since the game doesn't show me the line of the error... I don't know why

 

This is the error, by the way. It is caused by your mod because you modify "beamstate.lua".

 

Thank you, once I update all files in the mods I still get error and it give me the line but in the game's files

"at file lua/common/extensions.lua:403"

 

when I start the game and spawn a car I get Error in vehicle/object and my car get useless
