I have a problem with the mod when i start my engine its instantly on i tryd it on multible cars and on multible temps even on -50 it needs like 2 seconds and its on it takes longer on diesels a bit but it feels really wrong in my opinion you should check it out i have some videos i tryd deleting my cache multible times and i deleted all different mods i had in my folder so there should be nothing interrupting it

 

me it activates but it shortens the start time so much the cars instantly start i tryd cleaning cache but it dosnt work

 

just go to settings and onto gameplay and change the setting of "engines spawn preheated" that fixed it for me

so uh, i downloaded it after i saw it got updated for 0.32, and i guess it's broken because im still getting the "aborted mod load due to incompatible game version" error. does anyone know how to fix that?

 

After I start the engine, the little sound is completely gone, just starter to idle.

 

Writing again to hope earlier bug gets looked at

 

Using tuning/performance parts can influence the starter torque and therefore also the speed required. It works fine on unmodified factory configs.

Will be fixed soon.

Ok i used the enhanced ecu mod or how is it named And edited the idle rpm limit to the bus to 1000. and max idle how do you say it gas it can run just how much % of gas to idle.(Do like min 6 And max how much you want i used 8 but 10 Will work and will start a lil quicker) if you put it a lil lesser than normal and it will start longer i hope that you know what i mean (and idk if the mod Is enhanced ecu but its named like this in the car part editing thing) the ecu mod= https://www.beamng.com/resources/enhanced-tuning.26972/ the option is Maximum Idle Throttle

Sorry to bump this thread again, but I would like to report that although the idle behavior DOES work unconditionally, the starter behavior seems to be broken, no matter the config.
Every engine, except for the ones with a lot of inertia (I assume) comes up to life in the blink of an eye.
If there's any way I could provide more detail feedback, I'd gladly do it, as a mark of appreciation for all of your mods.
