Definitely something different. I love the idea and this is a really cool mod. However the textures are very messed up. And then there's the glitch with the steering wheel that you mentioned in the OP. I tried to make this into a separate vehicle. So what I did was I changed the vehicle file to 'pickupGUN' rather than just 'pickup'. I also renamed the 'pickup.DAE' to 'pickupGUN.DAE'. In theory this should make it a separate vehicle with no issues right? Are people who didn't do all that renaming getting normal textures?

Here's a pic of what I get. The rollcage also flickers from black to white whenever the camera moves.

    Good job ....
Probably it's my openCollada 3ds max plugin problem ,because every dae file i export has the same {camera/steering wheel/jbeam} issue plus i get error messages about groups loosing geometric informations .... I feel so lost #need help :(

how the hell did you guys manage to click 3 different buttons in 2 different file copying related popup windows to confirm to copy and overwrite 67 files, without realizing this action could mess up original data?

Looks realy nice so far, looking forward for next improvements and maybe making it a seperate vehicle?^^
I get this when i choose the death machine
    BeamNG 2014-03-10 11-07-22-73.jpg
on all other preset profiles i get this
    BeamNG 2014-03-10 11-07-04-35.jpg

strange, did you try the cleanup batch file and/or the updater? you may have problems because there is still a .cached.dts file of the rebel truck but thats just the most obvious reason i can think of.

Guys. In the root of your beamng folder, where the beamng.exe (whatever it's called) is, there are two important files. One is "cleanup.bat". To run it, double click on it. It should clean up your beamng directories.

If you're having issues like described above, not being able to use the default vehicles, there's a file called "updater.exe", which restores the game to factory default. To keep any mods you want to keep, just move the folder from the vehicles folder, levels folder, or any of the lua folders to a location outside of the beamng folder, then when the updater has finished, put them back where they were. Also, before running the updater, it may be a good idea to delete the original stock vehicles and levels from the directory, just to be sure the updater does a clean job of it.

Uhh, Am I supposed to replace all of the files of the original D15? I accidentally did and now only the offroad version works and it's the rebel truck. So basically I don't have a standard D15. :(

The steering wheel detaches as the truck turns. Very annoying.
