Cancelled BKL convertible Grand Marshal

It looks like it's gonna take a lot of time so .... put it on hold


I will remove the rear left and right doors because I've never seen a 4-door convertible car hehehe ... What do you think ?

A four door convertible actually sounds nice. I'd keep them if I were you.

 

There were 4-door convertibles. The last one was 1961-1966 Lincoln Continental.

Is the structural integrity the same as the hard top version or is it weaker?

I'm guessing it would be weaker like most convertibles. The roof helps a lot, and with it removed, a car usually feels floppy.

 

You can still make your own one.

 

It would, unless they would put some extra metal in the chassis, and this is why most convertibles are heavier.
Btw I think there were some old cheavys that were avaible as 4 door convertible.
