hmm im not sure, could you take a picture of your keyboard lol and what's your computer's language settings?
Alright here's the official 0.2 release of the JBeam Editor! https://github.com/BeamNG/Blender-JBeam-Editor/releases/tag/v0.2
It is not exporting any changes. When I exported selected jbeam parts, it does nothing. The document is updated, but no changes are made. Going to reinstall Blender see if that is problem.
I didn't even think about keyboard language, I am Swedish so that could definitely be the problem, I am gonna check as soon as I can. --- Post updated --- Yep, it was the keyboard language, I think the reason for me not being able use that shortcut is because in my usual keyboard language I don't have a standalone button for "]" or "[" for me to be able to get a "]" I need to press "alt + 9" meaning I have to press "ctrl + alt + 9" to use that shortcut and that´s probably why it didn't work
thats right, it doesnt have permission to write there, i looked into the console and it said ERRNO 13 didnt have permission to write to LHSAvent_doors.jbeam, so i guess the write permissions are changed EDIT: run blender as admin and then it does work, it changed the value and didnt give an error
Not sure if this helps.... (158) Angelo123 - YouTube I reinstalled Blender, new location (default install path) did not add the old node beam editor just to be sure. I know you will figure it out Shaping up to be one amazing tool that everyone's going to love.
Thank you for your great effort, angelo. I appreciate it! But I have a question: Has anyone experienced the same problem? I cannot see any jbeams and not be able to export it.
sorry its not supported right now, but you can import like a very basic jbeam file and then essentially create it from scratch that way
Is it still possible to convert a low polygon mesh into a jbeam mesh? Or does it work differently than before? Sorry if it’s been disclosed already, I just noticed it.
