WIP Beta released BMW 535IS - UPDATED

Its caused by the wrong material file....

 

Thanks for reporting, i'll fix the material problem, but for the model problem, well it's gonna be a bit more complicated

 

pleas make a drift version

 

it looks good but breaks the driveshaft very easy i put it in manual mode in reverse and it literally destroyed itself glichting my game you have a nice base to work on and i cant wait till its released.

 

+1 On this, its falling apart but a fun car to drive around when undamaged

 

My first 2 BMWs were E28s, probably one of my favorites right after my E30. Keep up the good work man, can't wait to see the finished product!!

 

I noticed the driveshaft problem too while I was driving around on the cliff level. Took some screenshots to show the how terrifying/amazing it is.

 

I've found out this only happens while in first gear, on manual transmission, i don't know why it's doing that.
I don't really have time now for beamng, i'll look it up when i'll have some free time, and try to find a way to solve this.

 

This car looks amazing... Cannot wait to drive it.

the modder is still active so why not ??

 

Because he hasnt posted anything for that long...so that probably means that he stopped updating. Also it would be very hard updating to this new version

 

why can it be hard ??

 

Because there have been very many big changes like the drivetrain for example, not to mention that modding in general isnt very easy

 

yes but if the mod is not outdate that means that there is not that much of changes to make right ??

 

Sometimes that is the case, but in this case - the mod IS very outdated, and the thread title is as well.

You'll want to look at the "Last edited: Jul 25, 2015" near the download.
Anything that hasn't been updated since the last game update, currently 21 December 2016 - is outdated, and probably broken.

 

I sure hope that all the bugs get worked out, the 5 series has real sentimental value to me, being it was the old family car and the car I learned to drive in.
