sorry, but it doesn't work? tried clearing cache, nothing happened tried renaming "Bolide" to "super", game fails to create resource seems like a cool mod though
youn know, every car has an "file name". For example: 200BX is coupe T-Series is semi And Solide is super But in this mod that wasnt the case. --- Post updated --- keep in mind that you will also have to edit this : BUT THE SOUNDS NEED MORE ADJUSTMENT AND THAT WILL BE THE TASK FOR THE CREATOR
TheRustyRagdoll updated Bolide Old V12 Sound Mod with a new update entry: Update 1.0.1 Read the rest of this update entry...
I know, but all of the sounds i make don't have to be 100% correct with the specs of the car.... I did this mainly because the bolide looks very similar to a Lamborghini Miura. And if you saw my RB26 sound mod you'll realise that a RB26 is a 6cyl even though the 200bx is a 4cyl... The Bolide having a v8 is/was a very stupid thing by the devs...
Considering the their are a lot of mid engined italian supercars of this period that the bolide is very similiar to. The engine choice probably couldnt have been any better although a V12 would be nice. For example the ferrari 288 GTO looks almost exactly the same as the bolide and it has a mid engined v8 (i think it also has twin turbos).
That GTO doesn't even remotely resemble the Bolide, and yeah, it has twin turbos. Old V12´s look, sound and go very well with 80s-90s supercars... V8´s are for f****ing muscle cars, not sports cars...
You have to admit the body shape is almost the same. they are mid engined, have slopey and pointy front, they also both have front splitter and if the rear lip wing on the 288 was removed, the rear of the car would almost be indistinguishable.
