It's so good to see a modern truck mod! (Couldn't upload an image because of errors).

 

I'm not sure if this issue was mentioned yet, but with my experience the light script you are using seems to break all of the other BeamNG vehicles where none of their lights work

I tested it out and it need some work, there’s mesh clipping in a lot of places and some bad panel gaps also the interior is very dark otherwise 10/10

 

I remembered seeing this truck in FS19, and FS22 as a mod on the modhub originally for 19 in 2021, did you get permission to use the model? asking mostly because I saw no mention of it anywhere here

I can clearly tell this model was not intended for beamng (it was f22 as seen in soupras message) and the jbeam is one of the worst I’ve seen on forums tbh

 

seeing as how thsts not where the model came from, that would be a negative. And i can assure you if you were to do your own research like i did the first time this was brought up, quite a few of the TLX trucks arent as “custom meshed” as 82Studio says they are. Besides that, the only parts from the original model is the crew cab and short bed body shells. everything else is a modified derivative/custom meshed/purchased model.

And yes, it is nowhere near done. theres alot left to do, and i am working in it. this was kindve just a “hey im still here” release

 

I mean this can definitely be a great mod but needs lots of work and bug fixes

i mean really seems like it was meant for fs22 or fs19 but whether it is or not definitely needs lots of work and bug fixes atleast we got a release i guess

 

I mean, if you say it's not where it came from, where did it come from? I'm just wondering, but if it comes out you're right I guess it would just be a misunderstanding. Just to be clear I have nothing against you or this project, I just wanted to clear this up, and if it does turn out to be originally from 82studio, just at the very least credit them for the model, like other people do for mods with forza models etc you get the point.

This will not be on repo for a while due to the quality standards of the repo and the creator this mod does no meet either standard

its really bad.

 

with the way some of you are talking you would think this is the worst jbeam possible its fine..... not great not amazing not really even good but its also good enough to be fun. it drives well it looks cool AND is the first lore friendly modern truck. the main issue is one odd part of the jbeam and 1 sided textures other then that its pretty good for a wip. oh also here are some images of bugs and a few cool images in general lol

 

i guess it is good for a wip, which i do see the potential.
