That is, until your grandparents inherit them just so they can drive 25 MPH on the highway, so other than that, I think I do want this 1980s Chrysler New Yorker knock-off car.

Hey, I can drive 30 MPH on the highway when I want to. I'm not that old.

I agree. However, some of the most ordinary cars (old ordinary cars, of course) are my dream cars.

There are only 2 kinds of people who drive slow on the highway; Teens who think the highway is for texting their friends, and grandparents who think they are going track speeds in their Gov.t regulated golf cart and are the cause of all of our traffic nightmares.
(Yes, they even create the jams that give teens the idea they can talk to their friends to pass the time while grandma is trying to figure out why her gas pedal doesn't seem to do anything.)

When you get old, anything moving faster than 10 MPH is going track speeds.... 30 is supersonic (approx. Mach 1.3).

    ...
    Whatever.

I kinda just lose hope in these dev cars... I guess late October 2016 for a teaser of this? Maybe even longer for a release?

I do want this bad enough to drive it in game, but my dream car for BeamNG is the Bluebuck. And thats probably gonna be what, 2017 before we get it at this rate?
    I don't know...
We can only speculate what's going on behind the scenes unless the dev's decide to tell us their progress.

I feel like The release date is near Oct. 2016, But 2017 is way too far away, even for dev cars.

They've been machinegunning out cars for most of 2015 and we know for a fact there are more on the way. Don't be such a little black raincloud.

I guess you were not when the game was starting up
You had to have real patience to wait for updates etc.
It was months with no word on what is going on
The current update times are ftl compared to that

Honestly now guys, there are other forums to discuss stuff like this in, but even so the devs have been firing out updates at light speed compared to before, and for a relatively small team they have been absolutely fantastic at responding to the community and putting out content. Remember the vehicles take something like a month of work (as said by gabester, correct me if i am wrong here) and firing out stuff every week just is not possible. Furthermore this game still has a ways to go in terms of optimization and features, as well as a campaign of some sort and (hopefully) some sort of multiplayer support. As it stands right now the game is essentially a really well done fancy tech demo with some content; the game itself is fantastic and has an exponential amount of potential, but still remains incomplete; i wouldn't expect a 2016 release. This is not a bad thing, if anything the devs should take their time and give us the best content they can, look at what usually happens when games are rushed (looking at you EA). Also as a final note, with everyone complaining about content, this may be why the devs are so tight lipped, as for every screenshot they post, or every bit of info provide they receive a few comments as "looks good, great job!" and an overwhelming majority of "WhY is this not released now!/when is release".

Patience will be rewarded people; Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will this game be.
