Pretty much this, and I believe gabester has confirmed that the legran has texture and or mesh problems at the moment which need to be fixed before it can be shown.

Most likely an I4 and V6 option.

 

More so a V6 than an I4

 

Yeah i think maybe a slow v6. But a I4 also will fix well. As some of these ( to my knowledge ) Have a i4. I know ( think ) The chevy celebrity had a 2.3 4cyl. But the v6 would be maybe a 2.7.

Again hear in Australia We never got these cars. we had a car called Holden Camira. It used the j body.

And the LEgrand needs a LEcrap ( beater ) as my friend says those cars are always old and in junk yard's.


But i know it will be a awesome car no matter what.

 

About engines. How awesome would it be to have an inline 6 engine with a turbo, Then we could make all sorts of engines for it. Like the barra. The old holden motors escecially the Red and Black motor that was used in toranas and old commodores. The Barra would be awesome for this car.

 

Got to love the Barra. My BA Fairmont has it. My 2nd car a 1985 XF has a 250 crossflow. ( as seen in pic the red XF )

But this car is a F.W.D I6 won't suit it. The only F.W.D car's that i know of are the Austin Kingsway. And the Holden epica.


The ETK are like Aussie cars. The legrand Just a F.W.D Shitbox ( one i love )

Mind you. There is a Hyundai excel. ( underrated cars if you ask me ) With a v8 i think LS in it. And it's rwd.

Yeah about the Excel's, look at my profile pic and my signature if you didn't already notice. Soon i may be the owner of a second one that is wreck that i might be buying from a wrecking yard for $300 to do some racing with as the car in my profile picture is way too net for racing although it is a Twin Cammer.

OT: has there been any word from the devs about the specific engine and drivetrain options. e.g. will it be given a transfer case if it is designed as a tranverse layout FWD car.

 

Legran won't come out for a while

that doesn't confirm anything and maybe that's one the reasons it might take a little longer to get the update to be "complete"because once they said that the legran will come soon after the ETK, so unless you have inside information that confirms your acusation, then i think it's pretty save to say that it will come in the upcoming update

 

They never said it would come "soon after" the I Series, they merely said the LeGran was next.

If we go period correct for a car of this type in the era, We should see a 2.2 to 2.7 liter I4, A 3.0-3.8 liter V6 and V6 diesel.

 

This car is going to have a carbureted V12 diesel rotary wankel engine with forged pistons.
