That's better! I still think the taillight panel looks a little bit weird, but it's not as bad as before. Given the amount of time you had to work on this, you did a damn good job. Next time you get to work on this, I recommend making the taillight panel a little bit less wide. It would look much better that way imo.

Looking nice AR. Suggest narrowing down the rear end edges a bit and make sure the new rear pillars get a good visual showing. After that I honestly feel a beta release is in site! Should be fun seeing how
all this changes the handling not to mention the deformation.

Okay, looks good (again) so far.
    BUT: I suggest a few things :p

Bigger D Pillars (and maybe rounded rear window):
    screenshot87.jpg -- screenshot87.jpg

Also i dont like the long rear windows so please part them in to 2 (Also maybe longer exaust):
    screenshot89.jpg -- screenshot89.jpg

I added original pics to compare.

Oh and maybe if you keep my ideas make the c pillar bigger to fit the rear window:

those long windows are actually a wet dream in disguise...theres lots of room for things to crumble and mash up. Def exhaust extension too :)

    that is looking sweet!
i think the sharp corner over the taillight
    (i dont know why i spent 20 minutes on this :p )
what i think should be done.
    thinner bumper
    move taillights up
blend the sharp corner into body

    before after

Personally, I think the rear overhang is a bit long. The proportions behind the c-pillar seem close to that of a Impala or Custom Cruiser. You're sedan modication looks very close to a late 70s Dodge Coronet to me. I would follow the proportions, and maybe even the lines of the Coronet Wagon. I'd even include a version with the steelies and chrome certercaps because awesome.

It looks great. I think the rear quarters above the tail lights could be smoothed or sloped a bit but I'm digging that rear window and panel on the side. Looks beautiful. So there will be an option to put an actual bumper on the front, right?

I love what narwhal did to the rear end, that's how it should look like. I also feel like the rear overhang is just too big, it should be considerably shorter.

Re: Bruckell Moonhawk Sedan & Station wagon

Hey guys, I thickened the d-pillars a bit, raised the rear bumper a bit and made it a bit shorter, moved the corner a bit inwards, forward and lowered it a bit to make the edge/point a bit smoother. Before I made this edge this strong it was round and everyone here didn't like that design :p
I did not (yet) moved the position of the taillights.

About the length; according to Wikipedia, the 1975-1976 Dodge Coronet wagon is 195mm longer compared to the sedan. This Moonhawk wagon is exactly 200mm longer compared to the sedan. (rear end of the bodies compared) If you look at the picture of the brown Coronet Mad Jasper provided and imagine the chrome taillights and bumper (at the side of the body, not behind the body) to be body-coloured, the overhang of this Coronet seems comparable to me. The chrome parts and the position of the d-pillars (and so a smaller rear side window) makes it look shorter compared to this Moonhawk I think.

Made some other parts (meshes only) as well :)

I'm liking the Moonhawk wagon's booty now. :p May I ask what the cage surrounding the engine is for?

Thanks! And that 'cage' :p is a replacement for the radiator support and the inner fenders, stock cars use it. All body variants can use it, like the front bumper which can be used on every model. Showed it for MoPower77 ;) I couldn't find clear pictures of the engine bay of a old stock car, so I might be a bit wrong.

Looks good now (except for the textures sticking out), any plans for a woody version?

It looks freaking mean dude. I like it the way it is, but I have to ask if the "cradle/cage" is going to connect to the roll cage you had planned on. I absolutely love it though. Thanks for making this as it is by far my favorite looking mod(s) I've seen so far.

Re: Bruckell Moonhawk Sedan & Station wagon

Okay, this baby is coming along nicely AR. I stared at the rear of this thing for a good 20 minutes ( I'm an ass man ), and started not liking the way it looks, picking apart various aspects of the way the d-pillars are set.

Then I noticed the luggage rack and how it really set the look in motion. A few minutes more staring and I had an epiphany, this vehicle is not a Chevy or an Olds or a Dodge or a Chrysler.....it's a Frickin BRUCKELL. That being said,
I think this thing is the perfect Bruckell town wagon. It's a "heart strings" sort of deal. I'm happy with that. This car as it stands looks wise is the quintessential beamng station wagon and possibly the only station wagon.

How does the mods handle crashing so far?....pics?

EDIT: I'm impressed with your regular updates and work flow.

Re: Bruckell Moonhawk Sedan & Station wagon

Edited and added some small stuff; a doorhandle for the station's reardoor (it will open sideways), a air deflector on its roof and remolded the end of the exhaust. It is pointing down and a bit out now.
Aaaaand couldn't resist after seeing a picture of a 1977 Mustang T-top and made a 'new' (just edited the original) grill and a t-top body. The t-top and ute won't be in the upcoming release, (I'm planning on releasing the sedan and station first, remove the bugs and then release those.) but do you guys think it fits the Moonhawk? The new grill will be useful when you don't select the front bumper; it has blinkers.
And is everything fine regarding the station? (new parts, but also the Moonhawk badge, taillights etc). The taillight frame and taillight gap are the last things to create, but I rather create them at the right place at the first time.

The station isn't jbeam'd yet, it uses the sedan's jbeam to get it in-game. I wanted to have the mesh finished before modding the n/b. So that is about now :p

The engine cage will be connected to the rollcage. I'm still not sure whetever I will use new node for the rollcage or, like the compact, add strong beams to existing nodes. I think I'll add a few new nodes, some kind of compromise.

Cool, you should attach the cage to the frame... :D Then it will be secured safely.... and possibly make the frame a little stiffer haha

Re: Bruckell Moonhawk Sedan & Station wagon

I'm not too sure about the grill. Nothing about it really looks off or weird, I'm just not too big on it right now. That being said, it'll probably grow on my after a little while. As for the t-top, yes. Just yes. I just hope there's also an option for a body-colored roof panel as well as a glass one. That would be great. Also, the tailgate handle is a bit, um, "obvious" for my liking. Maybe making a slightly thinner one, or try to blend it in with another part of the rear end would let my OCD side calm down a bit. But then again, that's just me. Other people might like it the way it is. I also don't think my ideas are the most realistic considering what you're basing this off of, but I could be wrong. It's your mod, so whatever makes you happy!

I have to admit that the station wagon looks damn good. This is the most complete mod I've seen for BeamNG. The options you are offering are a car guy's wet dream. I hope the devs will include more options for their cars in future releases.

    Again, great work.
