Absolutely wonderful job the Nine is by far my favorite addition to the game's legendary lineup so far.

I have had some issues with the flathead V8 with persistent overheating. With high compression, as well as performance stage 1 and 2 blocks the flathead inevitably overheats and I haven't been able to figure out a way to prevent this.
I've mostly been running the two- single barrel carbs as you get to keep the mechanical fan, but from my testing all of the carb set ups cause this with any block besides the low compression.

I do play with WASD, so my throttle is "all or nothing" and I can't really baby the engine or drive as soft as it may be intended, but some sort of radiator upgrade for the stock frame/ flathead engines I think would be super useful both for tuning, as well as overall drivability for non-sim drivers.

The Side pipes hit the Wide Fenders. Maybe there could be two side pipe options, one with fenders, one without. It could be like "Side Pipes" and "Clearenced Side Pipes"

The fender trim does not work on the Wide fenders, only the stock ones

I love everything about the Bruckell Nine, but just one small thing: I would like to have an option for an aftermarket radiator with the standard frame and stock i4/V8 engines. I know they are supposed to overheat when driven hard, but it would be nice to have a performance radiator option. Any upgrades to the flathead V8 causes it to overheat even faster, and just having the electric radiator fan as the only option does not help very much.

Also, it would be cool to have non synchronized transmissions available for the Nine or at least partially using synchros, only on the second and third gears. Is there a reason why we didn't get unsynchronized transmissions, or is it too difficult to implement?

Car strikes me as being rushed a little as it's missing parts like radiator upgrades and modelling errors like see through windows when you remove the trim and other quirks.... Hoping everything can be fixed over hot fixes which would result in the best car of the game.

The Gutter Grifter config has to be the easiest to drive drift config in the game, I was just able to hop in and shred, built a drift kart using it as a base and got 3 stars on all the drift zones in west coast with it, the reduced weight helps it quite a bit, if this had a cage and bucket seats it'd be sick

In the not-too-distant future, humans and machines coexist harmoniously, yet they both share an appreciation for the timeless beauty of a classic car. Whether it's the sleek lines of a vintage roadster or the roar of a well-tuned engine, these iconic vehicles continue to captivate the hearts and minds of both human and machine alike.

Also can I thank whoever made the Bootlegger Configuration and specifically who made the song reference about it! I somewhat jumped out of my seat seeing it and trying to process what you guys did!

Found this thing which shouldn't be here:

Front Suspension > Independent Front Suspension
Front Spindles > Front Drop Spindles / Front Spindles
    Front Wheeldata > [!]Front wheeldata
It appears only with Independent suspensions.
Sorry for not having a picture

I hope that the devs focus more on old cars this year, since there is now only one car made before 1952. There's lots of potential such as buses and maybe cars from the 1910's/20's (I know that would be hard). Plus, the oldest car to be remastered so far is the T-series, from 1974. But I am still very excited with the 9! :D

Thanks for taking the time to comment 'ryanisstigg'

All these images I have produced have no AI rendered elements and are done the Traditional way;).... ie composed screenshot of vehicles in BeamNG with added lighting in World Editor, and all the Characters used are posed, had lighting to match BeamNG screenshot within Daz3D programme, then characters placed into BeamNG screenshot as composite within Photoshop:D

More info in this thread....only if interested.

usually the front wheeldata is called "spindles", but in the case of the Nine the spindles are an actual configurable part, so it's just called wheeldata.

I made a post a few days ago about how the devs tend to establish trends for the next year with their holiday updates. They've been doing this as far back as 0.15 in 2018 - I wouldn't be surprised to see another pre-war car in 2025, or at the very least a pre-1975 car, as well as more focus on the older cars in general.

Are trafficators in the works? I know we already have turn signals, but in terms of a 1939 car they're actually a bit wierd. not unheard of, but the trafficator was more popular, and the flashing turn signal as we know and love today is only from 1938, a year before.

for those that dont know: a trafficator is an arm that is extended from the car, sometimes with a light (especially towards the end) to indicate where you are planning to go. it can be anything from a little amber light stick like you see on those british taxis today, to as simple as a glorified red 2x4.
this may be due to a headlight mod: for me it was the old parking/running lights mod

sorry to anyone who got a bazillion thread updates. this is a less than ideal forum system: apparently i cant have two messages, one as a reply and one as a general thread question
