Super excited for this mod to come out, I'm really sorry for Solar for this having happened. I'll keep an eye out for more leaks, hoping theres no further leaks to deal with.
If you are being sarcastic I will look pretty stupid, but seriously though, I'm guessing you don't quite know how much work one mod takes, especially if it's as advanced as Solarpower's mods, it's taken me several hundreds of hours of work to make my gen 4 mod(which is originally based on the gen 6 mod) and I'm not even done yet. Even if you are sarcastic, I want it to be clear that modding both takes time and effort and even more so when you do it alone so getting help with certain things make it way easier to get the mod done quicker.
i'm not being sarcastic, i wasn't clear...what i meant is why are you sharing it with people that will leak it? how did it even get in their hands? --- Post updated --- if it was going to be a mod eventually, how did it get leaked then?...i just don't understand
Leaks can happen in many ways, for example if any of Solarpower's friends told one of their friends about the mod and that person was the one who made the reddit post. It could also be something completely different, this was just an example
Sometimes people who you trust, backstab you, and decide it'll be a good idea too post the mod, the mods being worked and produced by multiple people (Schemes, Textures, and Other stuff like that). There was no sign of this happening, it was only shared among the trusted group of SolarPower07. Most of these people have been friends with Solar for almost 2+ Years.
Sorry bout the leak, but can their maybe be a repo version with a lore-friendly car? Maybe the bastion.
I just found this. I'm sorry to hear you had your work leaked. That sucks and I feel sorry for you. I do have a question though, about the car. Is it close to completion? I only want to know because all the 2024 schemes I have been working on will become completely irrelevant, since they are on the gen 6. I'm only asking because I don't want to spend time working on updates for a skin pack that no one will use.
I can't gauge how close it is to completion; I never expected to make a post about it so soon. But I will say it's not too far off.
I’m not sure if solar wants a status out as of right now, but i would suggest stop working on the schemes for the gen 6.
