I never thought of a DVD system but that’s also a great idea. I know it’s not Commander related but a dvd system in the late model Lansdale’s higher trims would also be nice. Other Commander additions I’d like to see: -Seats similar to the ones in a real Escalade, with embroidered (hope that’s what it’s called) Burnside logos on the headrest -an optional sunroof, with panoramic moonroof over the rear seats as a top trim option on long wheelbase models -Xenon projection headlights on high trims (angry bird’s Mirena mod has this) -light tan interior color as shown in the picture of the seats
i dont know if it has it but rear radio controls this is somthing that some mid-high range suvs had in the early 00s we had an 04 yukon xl with that
Any plans on Japanese Domestic Market configs with the RHD dashboard as well just like the RHD Australian Domestic Market configs, LHD European Domestic Market configs and RHD United Kingdom Domestic Market configs?, Maybe an early-spec variant produced for only 3 years between 94-97 and have a similar front fascia to the pre-facelift 92-97 Roamer?, Jeez I could even also think about JDM/EUDM/UKDM/AUDM configs along with RHD for the default pre-facelift and post-facelift Roamer as well, I could even think about a 3 spoke steering wheel exclusive for Roadsport variants and the 2-door Sport made by N0mN0m as well, For JDM, is there a chance of fender mirrors to give competition between Hirochi and Ibishu? --- Post updated --- "PeRfEcT! Sorry , I do not meant a fully digital cluster like in the 80s or 90s ! I had something like a 2002 Cadillac STS cluster in mind , analog but with a bit of digital in it !
RoadSport has no relation to Burnside and a 2-door version wouldn't make sense. Config wise I will probably be keeping lineup mostly American with maybe a couple other market configs. Pretty sure V6UAL is working on a prefacelift Commander also. As for JDM, the car is too big for Japanese market and if someone wanted one, they could import it, American spec would probably be more attractive anyway. There probably won't be a digital gauge cluster because one is pretty hard to make, above my programming skills
There's literally a RHD dashboard included in the mod in the first place.... If I wanted to be pedantic enough, all I could do is just change the license plates and boom, one for Japan. If I wanted it to be Australian, boom, appropriate license plates, that's it. No need for unnecessary bloat. Also what Charles said, the Escalades and Navigators were never sold as RHD outside of third party/aftermarket conversions, and more to the point, LHD is viewed as more "luxurious/exotic" in Japan, and there wouldn't be any sort of market for it because of all the regulations and tax incentives that encourage people to get a smaller car, so it's not worth it to sell it officially over there. But of course anyone can just import one from the US anyway, as shown here. (While bounding around Japan on Streetview.)
