You're not taking into account some people pay other modders to have a private mod made for them, which is totally fine. It's like commissioning a private art piece, you pay the artist to make you something nice for you to enjoy. Claiming that a private mod is basically asking to get leaked is comparable to saying a painting is asking to be stolen.
of course! Also, the engine RPM limits (especially for the diesel) need tweaking. The engines use the Pickup ECU from default so I can't find it anywhere in the jbeam files, and I'm not sure how to edit that myself
It doesn't matter, because we already have a plan to adjust the engine, and then we will do the work.(*σ´∀`)σ
You can find all the jbeam file for the pickup in the "common" folder as the Grand Marshal, D-Series, Roamer, H-Series all share the same engines.
Oh I am and I abhor those kinds of "people", just like any other self-respecting individual on these forums should. There's a huge leap between keeping a mod locked behind a paywall to get some monetary gain for your efforts and making a mod just for one person and/or their friends to keep to themselves. Not that I'm a fan of people charging for content for a game that people have already paid for overall, but I have far more respect for the creators who put their work on Patreon than I ever will for the selfish assholes who think commissioning a modmaker 60 bucks for a private mod is some kind of flex, then cry when people inevitably leak it (and rightfully so).
I don't think so,one's own belongings have the right to remain private,u cannot ask others to share u own things --- Post updated --- I spend my own money, this is my freedom, you have no right to interfere. If you think these things should be made public, I think you can make your money public to me --- Post updated --- Your speech may seem completely unreasonable to outsiders. If you can't help improve this mod or communicate with everyone normally, I don't think you need to continue speaking here
Seriously, paying attention to these will only make you feel bad in real life.If we don't release this car for free, you won't even know that this private mod exists, and you won't be so angry.Losing your temper with paid mods and private mods will only make you more and more angry and destroy your mental health. Besides, you can't change anything. Try to be tolerant and you will be much better. It is useless to hate someone you have never met and have never affect your normal life, except to make yourself feel bad.
Counterpoint: if you just made the mod public from the start like most creators here do, you wouldn't have people ripping off your content in the first place
So the person who should be blamed most is not the liar who stole mod and described other people's works as his own? Even if it is released from the beginning, someone will upload it to other places and mark it for sale at a high price, which has nothing to do with whether it is a private mod or not. Please blame those who have done bad things, instead of being aggressive with the victims and finding problems with them.
Do you plan to add more interior color options and nerf the default engine? The current output of 250hp stock is too high.
That's a bit like telling an artist that they should make all their art free use from the start instead of doing paid comms, because "it wouldn't get stolen in the first place". Doesn't make it any less wrong. I don't agree with Patreon mods either, they're hardly worth their price in a few cases. But, people spend money how they wanna spend. Mods like the Gavril Scout and the Ibishu Signia are well worth their (very reasonable) price --- Post updated --- I already made new engines with semi-realistic power curves, and the interior is colorable via the 3rd paint slot
Yes, I agree with you. It is disrespectful to force a person to release his works to the public. --- Post updated --- There will be more interior color options in the future.
I wasn't aware the interior did that; that's even better. Do you also plan to add the diesel version?
Thank you for your intention, but we already have the plan of unwrapping UV, so we don't need help in this respect, but thank you all the same.
