Can’t delete BeamNG

Hi, I want to delete BeamNG and reinstall it and on the FAQ it says to Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from Steam/Steamapp/common but when I do that it says You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder and when I click continue it says You need permission to perform this action. Can someone help me? Thanks.
