As I said, it is an exaggerated example. I didn't mean the overall style as much as just a few modeled rocks or cliff columns here and there. After all, you can't do vertical or beyond with landscapes. I do agree that this is looking quite lovely, though. Edit, below: Just a personal test level. I was throwing some ideas at the wall to see what'd stick.
I honestly thought the first pic was the map. I was about to say. Good work though. look forward to having alot of fun on this map!
Yes of course! I'm just working on that at this time! Consider my road like a speed track where there are some off road escape route to choice... My work will take more time right now because i have modelised my first level from to the east coast level (because I was a noob when I started it) and now I dont know how to do a clean folder to post it I have added al lot of shapes on my height map too well I think i must resume my level
For Aboroath a screen from terrain painter , dont forget to adjust color and teinte in GIMP for detail texture and macro texture because the diffuse texture colore them yet. Your detail and macro can be in black and white or just a little colorise.. And for all First released coming soon! I have resolved all problems of files organisation for a clean zip..
Hi! I have a question,is there really no way to get through the terrain to make a tunnel? And secondly I have some texture bug with decals, there is a kind of flickering. what it may be due?
Dig a trench in your heightmap, place a tunnel then a mountain mesh to cover it, pray for the textures to fit with the terrain's ones. Just like Black-Hills-A-desert-world-1-2-3 Edit : another way Maybe try to lower the "renderPriority" option of your decal road ? 1 is top priority.
winrar will open 7z you have to select it as a option when u intall it i think - - - Updated - - - err. i think i may be corrupt
I had no issues what so ever downloading and playing with 7zip. It just rules. Congrats on a successful launch Doulpepper! It's awesome!
This map got me excited about Beam again. I played for 3 hours straight last night, I've never done that before. Best map.
