Looks awesome! This map reminds me a lot of places here in the United States, like Colorado National Monument and the Grand Canyon. I think this is my favorite map, but the only problem I have is that the bridge kills the frame rate.
Yes I know for the bridge , WIP on it, I began to simplify models. I had a problem with the textures that made me crazy... But surely I will solved it soon
< the guardrail is still a road mesh (width = 0.1 and depth = 0.5) ; dae poles and visual fake with the texture! The top texture is in continuation with the side texture, a good visual fake thought a little contrast of shadow but not visible at 90 mph ! Fast and easy method to do a guardrail I think...
I was trying to do the same thing! I like the guardrail texture from the old guardrail pack and was trying to get it to work like Nadeox did on Sulaco Bay. Obviously a lot better than placing all those individual parts and pieces and probably better for FPS too. Nice work!
WIP ! I have corrected the bridge problem today. Effectively there was a problem, I had not done too much attention, but the bridge curved portions exceeded 70,000 polys I managed to get down polys between 7000 and 9000 with distant object less polys and I just reworked breaks, more realistic.. This step is ok for the next update!
One thing do i like : Da Bridge The bridge was so beautiful. I wish i can download it but it kills my "Craptop" and "CrapTower" D: (I don't have a powerful PC or Laptop)
I came across this video by chance, Wouuuuaah! If only it was possible to recreate this so beautiful road!! I almost want to try to do it such it's beautiful ...
The scene at 5:19 is so epic. Having a map of this or anything close to it would be a very tall order but definitely a goal!
Yes! I love post-apocalypse scenery! Fan of fallout and mad max.... It is more possible and less difficult than ZION park national road...
You know what's funny? I live right there. No joke. Utah is awesome! - - - Updated - - - ha. I could provide all kinds of photos and such. whether it be the snowy mountains, the beautiful lakes, the rocky mountains, or the Goblin valley, or Zion, or something else amazing!
Tunnels , I'm thinking of Zion , it seems to me very technical anyway to do a good realistic rendering ... Right now I try to finish canyon of speed , at least give adequate content.. - - - Updated - - - Fortunate!!!
Hello/Salut DoullPeper! I really love your map and the effort you put to it. That's a really nice drive on the Zion National Park in Utah. You might experience something similar on the upcoming SCS Software American Truck Simulator. Nonetheless, I very fun and challenging map to recreate! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSUKlmqBJYQ
I did not know this simulator, it is interesting! Graphics are a little dated but there is a real attention to details that make the thing very consistent. nice!
Yes very good ! It's the Canyon of speed inspiration! Heplfull for végétation and colors... Tree pines from Hutch are mountain trees; they are different in canyons, I would have to manufacture new models for very realistic render but it's not easy...
Hey This map is truly awesome, I've had a lot of fun on it. But there's only one thing that NEEDS to change. The cracks in bridge before the jump, I know that they have a nice aesthetic appeal to them but they make my car self destruct, the entire physics engine to crash or rip the wheels off ruining the entire jump and it's very annoying, could you maybe make it smooth or only visual so that the road is flat? Other than that, there are no complaints. It looks awesome and I can tell you've put a lot of hard work in to it. Congrats! Here's what I mean: Thanks - goldzatfig
