    Hello!

I worked on the terrain again, I was curious to use google earth satellit photos to improve the terrain overlay. And create more black and white textures in World machine to match with terrain materials.
And now I stop work on terrain, I think it's the better render I can do.
I can't really explain how I mix photos from google earth with World Machine overlay... I do that in GIMP with different layers.
But I can say that I rework systematically overlays saturation, luminosity, tint and contrast from World Machine in GIMP.

    The latest Screens!:)

Gorgeous! Very interesting node network. You are like the mad scientist of terrain creation!

Also When I follow the canyon with the camera I think that it will be really amazing to do race scenarios with planes (like the strato)!

If driving on the original canyon was fun, this might be even better.

A Game made by Biltz gaming , even for a game from 2002 it was detailed alot (as you said) but Granny Canyon (my fav level) had some lazy invs wall and death plans by the devs , a youtuber named CycloneFN did this video and shows how bad invs walls were placed :l

The best thing in this level is the music tbh. I Always listen to the background music of it

Oh I forgot to say, the whole level is an reference for Wile E. Coyote and the world name where this level can be found is named "Wile E. West" so yeah :p rip biltz gaming

It's a good music for this kind of game, ambient sounds or musics are really importants for games, I lament the lack of creativity on this subject in the big game industry. Some time little games have better musics !

I really would like to work on this map but I'm too busy, I must earn my live... Since one month I don't really use my computer. My work and time past on maps is quite similar to Mitch or Hutch work but me it's free.. I can't do that. Only create little things sometimes for the pleasure.

Since the latest screen I only do airstrip marking and decal road on all the airport aera, but marking is not finish :

That's sweet work. Well, if you're not sure when you'll have time, you should back up your work in the event your computer's hard drive takes an unexpected vacation or dirt-nap :x
Feel free to upload this if it's unfinished and won't be worked on for a while, I am sure you'll have many folks who'd like it. The airport surely looks much better than my own.
Oh, and that Hybris (like many AMIGA/C64 stuff) has some awesome tunes.
My my, where have the days gone where we listened to .mod files on TM-1 Trakblaster by Volker Zinke.
That SID chip really put out some sweet sound.
OK OK I am partial, I made a synthesizer here that replaces my MIDI system with all kinds of AMIGA/SEGA Genesis (Megadrive), NES (Famicom), SNES, Gameboy and DOS sound. It all blends together for max nostalgia. When I am not map editing, or milling about in a game of some other kind, I do indulge in making some newer game music sound like a Sega Genesis. It's just something I can do.

Smart man! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who believes in a bit of disaster-prevention with the PC.
I will pick this up when I see it out, whenever that may be, you will get no complaints from me!
Good things are worth the wait - hey - at-least you have a good job that keeps you busy.

    Hi!

Today I created a mesh for an extended terrain. Now there is really a good aera for planes... ;)

    a11.jpg a12.jpg a13.jpg a14.jpg

The aera is nearly 20 km large..

Wow, nice skybox-thingie there, I have to do this for my maps, but I've not bothered beyond a faked one with cheapo hills for Tennessee :)
20km is about the size of my Tennessee terrain, too. That's big, you can fly for a while on that...too bad the only flying I do is with cars.
So yeah, entirely nifty. So that's a second terrain or is that introduced in meshes or what? I know second terrains can't have collision though.
