Released Car Jump Arena 2025 [Version 2503] [PAID]

    I had the most fun at the Carkour with the "Autobello Piccolina - 150 Corse Rally - Gravel" ... you can finish all the stages, but at the end it's very difficult. "Hirochi Sunburst - Rally Gravel" or "Ibishu Covet - Rally Gravel" are also fun there. The Ibishu 200BX - Demon is a beast...but be careful with the throttle.

    So far I love the map, insta-bought it as well. Thought from the 10+ minute video I saw on your youtube page I thought I may not have been able to run it, but it runs it surprisingly well. 5/5!

    Thank you, ElTacoPaco. Nice to hear. I did a lot to improve performance on lower hardware specs. In future updates, the performance will be even more improved by adding more LOD meshes and collision meshes for the buildings that are not finished yet (like the television tower for example).

    really really enjoying it. the stuff that measures your distance on some of the games is really cool. so far, no complaints :)

    I like the map but I found a flaw in the shape of the ramp :rolleyes:

    The ramp in the original CJA map was smooth all the way from the top to the bottom so even at extremely high speeds the cars were not unsettled.
    This time however there is a noticeable bump when the straight part of the ramp meets the curved one. I'm not talking about a physical bump like a speed bump, but rather a place where cars bottom out and hit the road with their floor. I tried to highlight its rough location in this screenshot:

    The place where the 2 parts of the ramp meet unsettles the cars and pops their tires. 8 times out of 10, I couldn't achieve a smooth straight flight path because of it.

    I measured the angles and found out that the straight part is angled at about 34 degrees. The transition begins around +580 X.
    +580 X 33 degrees
    +460 X 18 degrees

    Thus, there is a 15-degree elevation change in just 133.512 meters (120 units of X at an average angle of 26 degrees).

    I went back to the original Car Jump Arena map and a 15-degree elevation change occurs there from 1010 to 745 units of X. That is roughly 294 m (265 units of X at an average angle of 26 degrees).

    Thus, the ramp in the new map has a 2.21 times faster and more noticeable angle change. That's why faster cars can't handle it and bottom out.

    I know it might be a lot of work but can the ramp be adjusted to mitigate this flaw? We need a shorter straight ramp part and a longer curved one.

    i gotta ask this, is that town in the background useable and detailed? it looks to be detailed, would be nice if it is considering theres close to no maps with something similar in it

    This issue I only had with heavy vehicles, such as the truck or the ambulance.

    I'll consider making the ramp smoother when everything else is done, but I won't promise as it will be a lot of work to change the ramp.

    It is just for decoration when you look down from the ramp or the television tower. You can go there if you want, but it is very low poly and the houses have no collision.

    For those who downloaded the map, what are your hardware specs (CPU, RAM, GPU, Windows, Game Version) and what are your game settings and your average FPS?

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz, 16gb of ram with windows 11. I think I'm running normal settings for graphics, running latest version of Beam, unsure of whatever else I have for it and FPS I couldn't tell you but it runs waay better than what I expected(based on the graphics from your 10+ minute video), runs super smooth.

    An issue I would like to mention on the ramp to get to the blobsled is that it sometimes will eat(pop) tires if you lock up your brakes when driving onto the ramp to get to the Bobsled.

    Thank you! Could you show me a picture of the exact place. Will fix it in the next update. Another bug I noticed is an invisible wall at the end of the bobsled - before hitting the safer barrier. This is fixed for the next update.

    I thought that invisible wall was apart of the ending lol.. Anyways, where the front tires are is roughly about where I noticed some or all of the tires popping/being eaten alive when I lock up the brakes, hopefully these images help.

    I have a I7-8700, 20gb ddr4, gtx 1060 6gb, Win 10, 0.29 and I have about 40 fps on ultra. One of the lowest performance Ive got on a map. I Have around 60 on West Coast. Maybe the map would benefit from a bit more optimization. Having a blast ! Nice work!
