I created some advertising places! So I thought, I can start a competition... I have at least 4 signs for advertising...maybe some more...I don't know... If you want to advertise your map, or car, or prop, or whatever...create it, and send it to "jc3_mysteryman@web.de" ...or submit it as a picture in this thread! Some rules: - At least 1024x512 pixels (JPG, BMP, PSD, PNG...usual filetypes) - No real brands! - No sexual content! - Feel free to create your own brands! Oh...by the way... The map takes place in germany...so it comes with a fully customizable german licence plate! It will be loaded for every vehicle when you start the map. --- Post updated --- I had some problems with the downloaded file, after I removed my cache (licence plate won't load...and I got some error messages with the LOD files). So I fixed it now. Here is the file...please test it and tell me if it will load without errors. -> Download-Link is two postings below!
I just tested it, the LODs and the license plate seems to work for me. The only thing I found is a normal map unable to load, here is the console message : " 39.28995|E|ConsoleObject::logError|Material - chainlink_fence(1937) - Failed to load normal map content/levels/car_jump_arena/art/shapes/props/chainlink_fence_n.dds for stage 0" It now time for me to mess around a bit in this map and enjoy the great level of detail you put into it
Thanks mate! Fixed! The problem was the "content/" in the materials.cs. The same problem I had with the LODs and licence plate, after I removed my working-folder from the "BeamNG/content/levels"-folder...and moved it to a ZIP-File into the documents/BeamNG.Drive/Mods folder. Should load fine now!
I don't know if it was on the previous version and I just didn't scrolled far enough on the console, but I had some more LODs and a texture size related errors on this version ( However I see no difference in-game ) Here is the part of the log with the errors
Hmm...lots of errors with *.cdae. I don't know...but i'll have a look at it! Thanks! But all meshes, LOD-meshes and textures are working fine? Do you have some "no material"-errors? And can you tell me your PC-specs and the framerate with my map?
