    All the car names?

If you're wondering, Jargl is a fictional swedish manufacturer, according to Gabester.

No, the website (I think web archive) is blocked under Sky Broadband, due to filesharing. It is riddled with blocked sites (like loads of sites I've seen now are blocked)

You're telling that to the kid who gave this thread a 3 year bump a few months ago.

Well, as long as this thread is still up and around, I'm wondering about the status of the Albatross.

Can someone refresh my memory? I seem to remember somebody saying that it wasn't going to happen, but the post here seems to have been the last time Gabester has mentioned it, let alone confirmed it to be cancelled.

I'm kind of holding out hope that if it is released, it will lean more towards a first-gen Chevrolet Monte Carlo than an Eldorado of the same period. Otherwise, it could upset the Bruckell/Soliad relationship, and it'd be kind of odd to have an all-out luxobarge with Cadillac or Lincoln-sized proportions wearing the same badge as the Legran.

Reality is unrealistic. See: 1983 Buick Century and 1971 Buick Riviera.

Unfortunately I think she has suffered the same fate as the Civetta Fulime, sliding doors on H-Series, and Gavril V8 in the Ibishu 200BX. Just old forgotten statements at this point.

True, but remember that Soliad is to Bruckell as Buick/Oldsmobile is to Chevrolet, and would be much more likely to be responsible for any luxury-oriented vehicles between the two.

I'd also argue that while the Buick Rivera was indeed a personal luxury car, it lacked a fair number of "luxobarge" characteristics and was geared more towards performance - it even had an early version of traction control!

I don't know quite what you mean when you mention the '83 Century. Not only would it have been produced approximately a decade after the type of car described in the OP (and after the quad round headlights visible on the Albatross sketch), it doesn't stack up in the size department either:

    1983 Buick Century
    Length: 189.1" / 4803mm Curb weight: 2745 lbs / 1245 kg Layout: FF

    1970-72 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
    Length: 206.5" / 2946mm Curb weight: 3593 lbs / 1582 kg Layout: FR

    1971 Buick Riveria
    Length: 217.4" / 5522mm Curb weight: 4431 lbs / 2010 kg Layout: FR

    1971 Burnside Bacchus (proposed)
    Length: 221" / 5613mm Curb weight: 4800 lbs / 2177 kg Layout: FR

    1971 Cadillac Eldorado (coupe)
    Length: 223" / 5690mm Curb weight: 4806 lbs / 2180 kg Layout: FF

    1971 Chrysler Imperial (coupe)
    Length: 229.7" / 5834mm Curb weight: 4826 lbs / 2189 kg Layout: FR

    1972 Lincoln Continental (coupe)
    Length: 225" / 5715mm Curb weight: 5075 lbs / 2302 kg Layout: FR

1972-76 Lincoln Continental Mark IV (coupe)
    Length: 228.1" / 5794mm Curb weight: 4993 lbs / 2265 kg Layout: FR

Yeah, i agree. Don't havr any idea where he's going with this, but this is more along the lines of full size boat/ luxury coupe with an h.p. motor. And late 60s would be better than early 70s IMO. Motors/internals were better regardless of what the auto makers advertised.

No. Why would we do that to a perfectly good suggestion? Hell, people were talking about how great it would be to have it in the game. That obviously didn't see this thread before.

Hang on, I've gotten myself into another situation here where I'm simultaneously taking about two possible pieces of new content in the same thread. Just for clarity, are you talking about the '71 Bacchus or the Bruckell Albatross?

That's more of a user problem than a thread problem, and you're not exactly being helpful at this point. If you must, use the "Unwatch" button at the top of this thread, and use the "Ignore" button on the profile page of any users who consistently annoy you.

Mostly talking about the albatross. But at the same time just a big land yacht from the 60s/70s era like the albatross or the bacchus. There is no official thread for the albatross but Gabe never did say that he wasn't going to make it after saying he would here.... as far as I know. If you can prove me wrong, please do, but I need me this full size luxury car with high perf as part of the package.
    --- Post updated ---
Didn't see that part but I guess I'm biased to this thread. Not concerned with bumps unless it is obnoxious. Twice in three years, who cares?
