Surprise, I never learned how to do this! However, I have been taking several drafting classes for engineering this semester and as a result have amassed a collection of 40+ (stolen) B-size drafting sheets (roughly like 1ftx2ft I think, I'm not American) and due to this I have been pondering remastering all of the original concept drawings that I had done earlier, but now in a more official-looking Front-Side-Top-Rear format akin to actual vehicle designs instead of a mix of head on and isometric viewpoints done on the crappy loose-leaf style paper of my university notebook. Let me know what you guys think if you would want me to give this a shot.
That would be amazing! Of course, you don't need to, but it would be super cool. Maybe photoscan them and upload them here as a wallpaper or something, that would be sweet.
I would definitely want to try and get them to be properly photoscanned, just not sure how well I could get it done, I'm sure one of the printers here can do it
Put in about an hour today on the project, depending on how I feel later might put in another additional hour. Figured I'd give a sneak peek at how the project is starting out. Of course I will once again be going in the order that each Concept Stage vehicle was presented. I (sadly) won't be doing any lore updates for them but I will be doing design revisions where I feel they would improve upon the vehicle design. Without further ado, here is a sneak peak at the coming Bruckell Albatross remaster: Don't mind the picture quality, this was taken on my phone and a better resolution scan will hopefully be done when the entire draft is finished. So far it is just the side view (so approx. 1/4 of the work) but it is coming along well enough to where you can get an idea for what the final product should look like. Basic things such as height, wheelbase, length, etc. will be dimensioned and specifications such as engine, transmission, tire size, and other vehicle details will also be highlighted using industry standards. Really the whole premise is just taking what I learned through my Mechanical Drafting courses and applying them to these old concept stage vehicles so that they look a little less hand-drawn and a little more lore-based.
