Personally I don't think he should, but since you brought it up a Mitsubishi Delica Scenic would be awesome, and if you want, do a race version (that reminded me of Top Gear)

Wow I hadn't seen this post before. I can't believe someone is making a Renault Scenic lol, I have that exact car and version, I really hope you can finish it. I've always wanted to use my real car in a game but so far I've only done it in GTA IV and Racer.

I don't think it's ugly, it looks really good actuly for one of your first models. It's hard not to be super picky though, I understand but try to remember your just learning and it's not going to be perfect.

If you get hung up on an area you think dosn't look right or is being a total pain in the ass just leave it and move on. You can always come back to it later. As long as you keep moving forward by practicing and reading/trying tutorials, even just for fun, you will be learning something new and adding to your experience level.

More then likely down the road, sooner then later most likely, you will and up learning that trick or techniqe that you needed to go back and make that pain in the ass spot perfect!

For a first model this is actually pretty darn good! I remember when i done my first model a long time ago in Zmodeler, it was half as decent looking as yours, and it was a pain to make it. Now there are much better tools (than Zmodeler), and i would recommend the new 3dMax. I never used Blender (though it must be good, i might try), but i did 3Dmax a lot, and its very "time-friendly" as it does simplify a lot of things if you use its tools correctly. Anyways, keep on experimenting, and looking for good tutorials, and you will make eaven more good looking and precise models, as this is a very good start! :)
