Supposedly, it was supposed to be a tribute to 30s hot rods, but I don't know anybody who would consider an ugly car with a 237BHP (I think) 3.5L V6 and a 4-speed "AutoStick" shitbox automatic transmission a hot rod.

Really they could make it into a hotrod, they just need to have different headlights, these just don't fit at all, they ruin it. Headlights and possibly rims.
