its one of the greatest tv shows ever, just not one of the best car shows ever. fifth gear is so much better. actual race car drivers talking about actual cars. tiff needel is my favorite host ever and he whooped the stigs ass at least once.
Despite its looks it's actually got pretty clever space usage, and it's a practical car. I'd rock one of these, no shame.
Practicality does not always equal coolness. The sheer ugliness of that car, and the fact that it's probably not much fun to drive, kind of ruins it.
On the bright side, when the car is already ugly and shit handling you can pretty much do whatever to it without worrying. Obnoxious stickerbomb? No problem. Stance? Who cares! Crazy paint job? You bet your sweet succulent asshole.
oh gawd. The Chevy ssr deserves a big spot on this list Also, the Aztec really isn't that bad. It gets good mpg, its big and roomy, and it has a lot of little cubbyholes. I wouldn't own one, but why does everyone hate on them so much

Yeah, pictures and games flatter the SSR. It's built on the TrailBlazer platform, and when you see one in real life you realize that it is NOT a small sporty roadster... it is a big, nasty truck with quite some ride height. The whole "big car trying to look small" thing might be the reason it's so ugly.
The C7 corvette. I know it's a good car in terms of performance, but for a 40k sports car, its quality is ABYSMAL. It couldn't make one lap around the nurburgring without breaking down, the engines are known for grenading after 100k, and recently there was an ignition failure that GM refused to recall and fix, that actually killed people. Instead of making a proper car, GM spent all their time on making a fast car and ended up prematurely shitting out a shining example of mediocrity in just about every other way.
Ehhh... It's not that bad. Definitely not the ugliest car in the world. I am biased though... And it did this too: Nifty.

Styling on it is not too bad. Buuut, the PT Cruiser is famously one of the most unreliable, cheaply built, unsafe, plastic, low quality american car to ever exist. It is truly a disgrace to American cars and American car manufacturers in general, and it was one of the original contributors to the stereotype that all American cars are badly built.
