... Doing cheap knockoff of vw cars? Yeah I guess ^^ For me every cars, good or not get outdated one day or another, so discounting awesome cars is sometimes needed for a brand to live. If you follow a certain logic, the car following the one put off the market should be better. (it's genuinely not the case)
Theyre not really knock off when you know that they develop over 60 percent off the engines (the only vw developed engines are those bad diesel engines and the new 1.5 liter petrol one and the cars theyreselves are even a bit better than the vw ones because theyre cheaper and have more stuff in them

Ford Escort line, same with Sierra. TVR, they made pretty nice looking cars, its just too bad they had bad reliability. And the classic Mini, before Austin went bust and the Germans took over.
Any fullsize, two door SUV. (Bronco, Ramcharger, Blazer) I can see why they aren't produced anymore as they are kinda unsafe and impractical, but they're just so cool.
R.I.P Lancer Evo, and Eclipse ;( --- Post updated --- I wish the Eclipse was still going, it's probably my favorite car.
Now out of joke, the Rover SD1 was a very cool car. To bad it was build during the British Leyland era.
