There are quite some factory cars that can do better offroad than this heavy ass monster, at least on some terrains.
http://hiconsumption.com/2018/01/best-off-road-4x4-vehicles/ Found this list of off-road factory vehicles.
I'm pretty sure that if it was honest and unsponsored, there would be more used cars than the zero that is on the list.
I'm gonna be honest... I have no respect for this vehicle. Design is poor, and it can't even beat other Chevrolets in ratings.
Proof for the ratings? Edit: https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/rankings/compact-suvs 5th in compact SUVs and best US compact SUV ex aequo with the Ford Escape. Not too shabby.
Terrain: https://www.edmunds.com/gmc/terrain/2018/review/ (3.9) Traverse: https://www.caranddriver.com/chevrolet/traverse (4.5)
I used aggregate, which has different sites to calculate the average from. There, the Equinox is 4 spots down. Also, I checked the MDX there. https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/rankings/luxury-midsize-suvs 5 spots down from the cheaper Lexus RX350.
Well, it doesn't seem to outshine in any list as #1. From CarGurus, the best mid-size SUVs in-front of the Terrain is the Outlander and Flex. (Outlander wins by a very small landslide, but the Flex gets an 10/10 rating.)
3rd in class? You just found a score that proves my point better. Also, a "small landslide" is like "a cold fire".
Yeah, but looks is the one that it fell behind mostly. The Santa Fe Sport, Durango, and Grand Cherokee beats the Terrain, and obviously the Flex. The only one where it isn't the Flex was the power, but the Durango beat the Terrain still. The lowest rating for it was the back seats.
I tend to like most cars, but the Volkswagen Golf Plus I just don't get. It's just like a normal golf, but taller, heavier and uglier. I truly cannot see the benefit of it. It's basically a 5 seat people carrier with a small boot, just like VW Touran. Who exactly needs one? A poor basketball player?
It's a product built to fill a microscopic niche that may or may not actually exist. That's just the German way.
Yeah, instead of the American way: You want a city hatch - have a crossover You want a sedan - have a crossover You want a minivan - have a crossover You want an offroader - have a crossover
Crossovers also have so much customization. I really hate super compact cars like the mitsubishi mirage and toyota iq
The super compact cars in my opinion have low iq... Anyway, I REALLY hate hummers, all buicks, all pontiacs except the GTO Most chevys (I know, I know..) jeeps cadillacs and there may be a few others...oh yeah, ALL chrystlers. I hate them. Mitsubishi's is another.
