Since my bad pun shut down the thread, I have a car for this: the non-lotus Vauxhall Carlton/Opel Omega. I would actually consider importing one into the states, especially a 2.6i or a 3000.
Ehhhhhhhhhh, it’s not that good. The interior quality on it is hot garbage from my experience, and the engines are lackluster. I honestly would take Genesis G80 over it any day of the week. Also, FWD.
It’s still front-biased and transverse. It is a good AWD system for a transverse layout. If it was FR I wouldn’t take as much exception to it.
SH-AWD is not front-biased AWD. It can be rear-biased (70% to the rear, up to 100% to an individual rear wheel) while cornering hard. --- Post updated --- The original NSX was RWD...
Well, they were rebadged Hondas to begin with anyways. Now they only share chassises and engines with other Hondas.
Mechanically, yes. Not surprising, since both predecessors at one time were based on/badged as Accords.
