    Hi, I recently got an SSD, and i am unsure how to put mods on my HDD without it screwing up, because AFAIK you can only put mods into the my documents section, which is on my SSD.

    Thanks,

    You can move the whole BeamNG user folder (mods, cache, settings) by changing the path in "startup.ini" in the main BeamNG directory.

    ok so it has this;
    Code:
    ; use UTF-8 without BOM as encoding

    [filesystem]
    ; This determines where the User path is.
    ; This is by default or when empty below "My Documents\BeamNG.drive"
    UserPath = F:\beamng

    ; example for using e:\beamng-user
    ;UserPath = e:\beamng-user

    ; example for using a relative path to this folder
    ;UserPath = \user

    but it not sure where to change, as F:\ is my hdd but the stuff still goes to C:\, my SSD

    The first column is the default BeamNG install drive for your PC I presume? If so then change that to the full filepath you want
    the cache to go to. The main BeamNG install file path is done in Steam. Please don't kill me if I'm wrong on this but I've
    done it with success.

    I know this is an old thread, but I want to verify that this works.
