You call that novice? I don't even know how to use blender and what you are doing is something i could only dream of!
Do you know how to mod? have you ever done JBeam? Just a warning, it will be ridiculously hard. Modeling will be the easiest part. Use the community, discord, reddit, anything you can for help. I know some things about modeling, if you need help with that pm me. But if you do know how to jbeam and texture, then this is cool!
At this moment my problem is in bad technical knowledge of car systems (i just probably know how it works, but i can't imagine this in graphical). Now i'm making liftback and i have to finish body. There is started 1.8 engine model and photo IRL engine from Peugeot 406. Thank you for the feedback! As about Jbeam and programming - i will be learning. It's hurt but necessary.
agree with eggward, this is really neat hope the jbeam phase doesnt crush your spirits like pretty much every other project on this forum. This is different as this is an original concept, would make sense for the time, and styling-wise its actually quirky and cool. Looking forward to seeing what comes of this. i have a few contacts i can reach out to who may be willing to help if you ever need it, including myself (im a bit busy recently tho) you have my seal of approval, for whatever its worth.
is a 3d model i do, is a mix of toyota celica, honda integra , 5 door european civic , I was surprised that it looked so much like the car, especially the front
It's very unexpected coincidence. My car is mix of Peugeot 406, Honda Integra, and Renault Laguna/Safrane.
Are you making a track version of this? I love to take cars like this out to a track and just try them out with my steering wheel, if not ill have to use one of the other models
the car looks great but some proportions look really off, like the headlight size and position. other than that its a good start
Looks great for a novice that doesn't know a lot about mechanical parts! Wishing you luck on this project
Amazing progress, loving the look of it! This game could really use some more 90s-2000s cars. (that's the year-range of this car, right?)
