Update v1.6 is now available on Gumroad and on my store.

Changelog :

Added smooth lights support

Updated mirrors jbeam to allow them to fold manually

Added backwards compatibility for older paint mods that used a different naming system
(both "paint_design" and "skin_lbe" are now allowed as skin slots)

Added a modelled slot for the automatic shifter (literally unplayable)

Fixed carbon fiber texture size

Fixed tailgate not opening properly

Fixed openables causing beams to break

Fixed front suspension vibrating

Fixed front brakes overheating when stopped

Fixed inability to remove engine without the wheels being removed too

Fixed "No Texture" appearing on windshield after a crash in some occasions

So good to finally see an update to the little hatchback that could! High beams seem to be nonfunctional though. Would it also be possible to make the sunroof interactible at some point?
