Tried extracting it with that, now instead of the game closing due to not responding, it opens the BeamNG "Submit an Error Report" dialog... No idea what's up with this, I'm wondering if gabe is having this issue.
Same thing is happening with most of the community... I'm gonna try reinstalling the game, see if that does anything. EDIT: Nope, still glitching... - - - Updated - - - Wait, I imported the model into blender, and some of the parts are black, some aren't. Does this mean anything? Also, FYI, only one set of wheels has the black thing, the rest are gray.
Really nice pickup crash's nice to, I have no problems spawning it but other people might not be putting the correct folder in the vehicles folder as you have it in a folder within a folder within a folder. People need to unzip it go in to the first folder "Silverado_for_Beamngdrive_V1.2" then open the next folder "Vehicle" and put the "silverado" folder in there vehicles game directory.
Works fine for me, remember, unzip the folder elsewhere, go into the folder. go into "vehicle" copy the silverado folder within, and paste in your vehicles folder for BeamNG, works perfectly fine for me.
I've already said 2 times that this is NOT the problem. I tried 2 different extractors and copied the file in right.
I haven't still no idea, why this is happening. It worked now for me, because i extracted the RAR/ZIP, opened the folder, and only copied the folder "silverado" in "vehicle" and just extracted it into C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive-0.3\vehicles. Hope i could help you out.
Mine doesnt even make a silverado.cached.dts before it crashes. Extracted with both 7zip 64 bit on 64 bit windows, and the windows native .zip extraction. - - - Updated - - - Nevermind, was my idiocy half expecting the unknown file type icon to be used when in reality its been given the traffic cone from vlc media player (which can't open the file funnily enough)
First off I want to say that this is an amazingly done truck and your doing great work. There were only two things I noticed on the beta that need fixing which you probably already know about but I thought I would give some feedback. The lights do not currently work for the vehicle, they come on but there is no glow in the headlights or taillights. The second thing is on the taillights one has a reverse section while the other does not. Other than that this car seems amazing already, can't wait for future updates of it.
Nice mod you made there. There are a few issues though: 1) The lights don't work, as commented above 2) Some of the body parts are very soft, for example the off-road rear bumper (visually the same as the normal rear bumper?) and the wing mirrors that's all I've noticed so far Keep up the good work
It took me less than a minute to download it. It could be a lot of people are downloading it, or something else is wrong but the download was working fine when I did it.
Yeah, guys, the folder isn't the issue. I went into the main folder, then opened Vehicle, and extracted "silverado" to the vehicles folder in my game folder. I'll try re-downloading it again. - - - Updated - - - I literally went through and selecting the car on every single map that I have, but nothing seems to work in that case. I think I'm gonna do a fresh install again. - - - Updated - - - Alright, it generated a new silverado_cache.dts, but then it crashed. :| This is really bugging me, I really wanted to drive this thing.
