Map design concept: When I was young, I always wanted to have a big room to build a toy city, and I think this map fulfilled my wish. This map refers to the city model of some street scenes and buildings in Taichung City, Taiwan. About the map making process: In fact, this map has been rebuilt more than 5 times before deciding to use Taichung City, Taiwan as a design reference. The output file is a headache. If export .dae directly from Sketchup, it will not be loaded, so need to export .fbx from Sketchup, import it into Maya, then export it into .dae, load it into Torque3D, and then export collada and copy it to BeamNG.drive.(it took more than 5 hours) If you find that buildings or roads are split into several objects, it means that it cannot be loaded smoothly and must be split into several objects. Note: 1. ChildRoom.zip\ui\modules\loading\drive has interesting content. 2. Some buildings have coordinates and can be searched on GoogleMap. About my next map: I haven't started working on it yet, and I'm not sure if there will be one. 2022/12/31 update Fix wrong building design Fixed missing objects in buildings Adjusted road textures FPS: minimum 45, maximum unlimited Download: MEGA GoogleDrive MEGA Update successful. You can download.
