A lot of people use mods in-game, and that makes an whole lot of sense, as this isn't the first city simulator to be modded.
I honestly can't play without a first person mod, being able to see the city like that makes such a difference. I try not to use much other mods, loading screens just get so slow. I like the DLC I have and wish I could get more but I can't justify the price, even when they are on sale.
Parklife looks like it's going to be a pretty cool update. And apparently they're going to add some nice new features to the default game too, if that's what they meant by patches.
Remember when they released the Green Cities pack? I like that they implemented Tesla-like vehicles into the game, with Tesla references.
I assume you speak of the Edisons. As for the Parklife patch, one of the things I look forward to is that cinematic camera they talked about and demonstrated in the video.
For the mod side of the community... There doesn't seem to be much for Alabama, maps or buildings. Just being honest. (Most of the Southeastern states doesn't seem to get a lot of attention in the modding community)
I guess there must not be all that much that attracts modders. Speaking of mods, I wonder if making a mod of this building would be possible. If this behemoth was real, it would put the Burj Khalifa to shame. With that said, imagine seeing this building towering over your city in C:S. Page on Wikipedia
It's likely to be finished, and there is an mod of the Khalifa. Is it just me, or am I the only one who thinks Epcot should get it's own map and assets from modders?
Well, both sides when you think about it. Though to be honest, that would be a interesting take to make it an city just like the plan originally was.
Some people has made Epcot inspired stuff in C:S, though they're all save games, but the ones I saw closely resembled Disney's vision.
I even seen one description go out and say it's based on what he envisioned. If someone made an asset from the park, maybe Spaceship Earth could be one?
I also found out that there's only one map for Orlando, which is kind of surprising, considering how popular it is in Florida.
Introducing TIA (Truman International Airport, my fictional SoCal city). I play vanilla though because I play on Xbox One which is a shame but you can still get details in if you try
Welcome to TAX (Truman’s second airport. Tbh I don’t even know why I made it.) and here’s a photo of the rest of the city.
