And from what I've heard, Cities in Motion has more focus on managing public transport, rather than city building. Skylines goes the full mile by implementing that part.
Guess that's why they named it "in Motion". Also, I like how ninjanoobslayer continues to add more vehicle mods. Link to his catalog: https://steamcommunity.com/id/ninjanoobslayers/myworkshopfiles/?appid=255710
Mmhmm. I know he's one Skylines modder who has inspired me to want to try modding as well. My only question is why does he have such a problem with older vehicles? In some posts he mentions stuff like that.
Probably blueprints scarcity, or thinks more modern cars would fit the game's environment. I'm surprised there's no Acura mods for C:S, neither for this game either. Very surprising....
Couldn't be blueprint scarcity. It's quite easy to find some if you know where to look. As for Acura C:S assets, if I can figure out how modding the game works, I might be able to change that. No promises though.
1. It varies on which old car. For example, the Ford Mustang II has multiple blueprints, but the Fregate only has a few. 2. I'd be pleased to see some MDXs or ELs around C:S if vehicle mods for Acura do appear. I could just imagine having a replica of Beijing with a CDX in the traffic, or a replica of Cannon Beach with a ILX around.
I've built many cities on C:S, but the one I'm building now it's the best one I've ever done. Many details, perfect roads and low traffic problems! It's just perfect. Some screenshots:
Going well I think. I started it before I got mass transit so it’s in serious need of road upgrades but it’s my first city that was meant to be created to work as well as possible. I’ll see if I can find a better photo --- Post updated --- Not the most recent as I’m currently on holiday but here you go --- Post updated ---
Tourism season too, you can expect all the bad drivers visiting my city. SoCal drivers, Christchurch drivers, Chicagoans... the lot. So far the traffic on that 6 lane bridge backs up all the way to where it becomes a highway, but only in one lane
