Umm, yeah it is.. it just does some weird things I don't quite understand, of which I need to look over.

    Lol

Looks like I've mucked up, the roof appears to have 0 collision. oops.

This will be fixed in about 30 seconds.

Well, I have a G25 like the rest of the world :/ It's one of the go-to defaults of the racing community and it does its job pretty darn well. Yeah, the FFB is not perfect, however consider that it's connected to two physical wheels at the front of a car that reacts physically to everything that a normal car would in reality, including physical downforce, technically making this the most realistic racing game ever made, and it's literally barebones so you've gotta be pretty good at driving to play this game right.

Am I wrong here? I mean yes, the tire physics need work, but other than that this is a solid racing game, right?

Technically if the physics are close enough to reality, and it doesn't try to help you in any other way besides TCS and stability control, then you could technically race cars irl if you practice this game, couldn't you?

I don't know... I'd love to believe that video games could help you be good at something in reality without any prior training. It's an impossible dream, sadly.

Yes but a WIP FFB system connected to the most near most realtime vehicle physics ever is kinda bound for wacky occurrences.

    I
indeed, but consider that you are literally connected to a physical object. Not a shell with wheels that claims to handle just like a real car, you're connected to the physical form of a moving mass of virtual steel that reacts to your every subtle movement as closely as it would in reality. No, it is not finished yet, but look at what it accomplishes at the moment.

This is one of those games you just gotta praise, you know? I mean... this kicks the crap out of actual professional simulators that claim to be the most realistic racing game ever.

However, this was never MEANT to be purely a racing game. It was made to be a quality simulator.

It isn't trying to compete with games like Project C.A.R.S., Forza, GT, and others. It is its own thing. Nobody else does this. It's almost an entirely new genre in itself.

However, with cars like this and the Capri, it feel a lot closer to a racing game.

Thanks for coming up with this idea. I literally cannot express how cool it is to have real racing cars to mess around with. You can't drive a Group A race car around a vertical loop and over a ramp leading straight into a wall in Forza now can you? :3

I am not trying to beat it up, I am just stating that in it's current form it is about as useful as a glob of dried up paint.

One day it will be the most unique FFB system to date, for good or bad, pros and cons alike.

Yeah, I know. I understand that it's buggy and all. I'm not saying you're wrong or anything.

However, my Aspergers makes me look at little details rather than see it as "the big picture" XP

The feedback is received from what the tires are actually feeling. This is the only game where you can rock crawl, and you get feedback from the tires in response to the rocks pushing them to the side. Stuff like that just fascinates me. It's the implications of such a system that I really look at.

Asperger's also makes me obsess over things I like so I'm sorry if I go a little overboard with this stuff

Btw It's suppost to be called a Class A, I made a mistake upon release calling it the Group A.

It's my mockery of a "Sort of" Group C racecar.

Until I know what the car handles like with the weight reduction, I will not complain about the front wheels sliding through some corners. I am sure I'm not on the brakes, probably my DS3 controller.

It is less rigged, no longer feels sucked to the ground like the worlds largest vacuum. It understeers at 300km/h+ a little more but at the same time doesn't, it changes direction quicker than before, and it also becomes airborne a little easier.

All feels more realistic, and somehow it is easier to control on keyboard.
And it reaches an increased top speed.

I seen WhyBeAre's vid... I just figured you looked at the structure and see that the jbeam wasn't there as it is inside the roof literally, and with that knowledge simply said there wasn't any.

So I used node visualization and noticed it was no-collide.

Not yet made, I had a prototype that I lost a long time ago.

The track will be a made sometime in the future and will likely be considered after the car is beta released.

    -Bug fixes
Fixed rear-quarter-panal stiffness, no longer wobbles and shakes as you drive.
    Rear end breakgroup adjusted
    Quarter-panal mesh and jbeam adjusted.

    Ahem speaking of bugs...

You should rename it to just "Bolide Racecar" and not include the map than.

Don't know if you've noticed it, but when the car flips the roof goes through the floor. as if the rollcage was the roof. Nothing major. Just letting yah know! BTW, FREAKING LOVE THIS CAR! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Front going through redesign, jbeam to be improved to allow parts of the front to fall into pieces.

Alpha concept of new front, to be revised and polished

    -Plan to reduce hood angle
-Quarterpanals and lights will be revised and basically remodeled [but right now I think everyone gets the idea]
