Civetta Bolide

Imo I think the bolide is a true 80s wedge car. (Sorry for the bump)

 

It’s goal is absolutely to be an 80s wedge supercar. It fills that role completely.

 

I think what some people are really wanting is a higher-tier 12-cylinder (flat or V) supercar of this era. That would be cool, but right now, there's quite a lot more pressing gaps in the vehicle list, so I don't think a Countach/Testa-esque supercar is happening for a while.

Yes, but the F40 was an upgraded version of a Group B homologation special, so it was twin-turbocharged with much smaller outside dimensions and a lot of extreme lightweight technology.

After many hours of Bolide driving, I have found these skills useful:
Learn to powerslide, it will make the Bolide rally experience much more enjoyable
Learn how to take a corner, when taking a long swooping corner, stay on the throttle slightly but not to much, this balances the car and keeps it from under/oversteer
The rally version is much easier to drive on a Hillclimb like pikes peak, wide open roads to learn how to truly go balls to the wall
Don't be afraid of it, it will kill you if it senses any fear (keep your foot down as much as you can, you are speeding up or slowing down, there is no in-between
