WIP Civetta C94LM Prototype

This is awesome! As much as I enjoy the track variants of the Scintilla and Bolide, it'll be super cool to have a purpose-built race car for slinging around Hirochi. The model is gorgeous, and I deeply appreciate the level of detail and dedication you're putting into keeping it realistic. (While also making a little room for the rule of cool!) Good luck!

 

Will there be a variant that isn't open top?

Also, super excited to see an LMP mod. Been waiting a long time for one to pop up on the forums.

 

unless they plan on making a quick and dirty closed cockpit version i very much doubt it. closed cockpit cars are under a whole other set of rules and are nothing like open cockpit cars.

I mean to be fair there where cars built to this ruleset (IMSA World sportscar) that where quite literally Group C closed cockpit cars with there roof cut off. (and other floor and rule related changes)

 

Sorry for not keeping up with the project lately. The car is now in a painstaking stage where we are adjusting suspension geometry and there's not too much content to share in this stage so we are not posting much. It's a difficult process, as we don't have too much experience on jbeaming chassis and riding components.
Also, our guys are seperating efforts on things like other projects (our euro trend pack) or real life businesses (school, finding jobs or physical problems), so the car might not just be developed quick as it should be. But the project would definetely not be cancelled so please be assured.

Closed cockpit variant will come as a standalone car with monocoque resembling designs from older group C cars and different lore, bodywork and others. As said it's a whole other set of rules.

 

Why not do both styles a closed and open cockpit, just as a thought you know

 

Its looks very nice! quick question, this will have other engine config? I mean, I know it's v8 but if anyone wants to tune this thing and change it to v6 or v10 or v12, that will be very nice. yea, just and customize expansion

 

Other engine with individual lore would come later, such as ETK V12, 3 rotor and more.

Wow, a lore-friendly Ferrari sportscar racing car, i'm looking forward to this one.
Will it have real life liveries? Like the GLV Brums, the Scandia or the Eurointernational liveries?
