This mod is an extremely detailed, in depth, and quality mod, with obviously a frick ton of effort put into. And I am also very very excited to have the D-Series get this addition, cause I have some Chevy Squarebodies that need some of these beautiful engines!
Absolutely brilliant work JAVI, these engines will provide many hours of enjoyment and the Audio is amazing as turning up the speaker volume a little vibrates my Sim Rig and Pedals for that extra immersion, and look forward to further updates with being able to shove these engines in other BeamNG core vehicles Thoroughly enjoy trying to tame these beasts in Manual H-Pattern with Clutch...Top Marks
i think the fleet-six is enough for it check the PLANNED ADDITIONS on the repo page thank you! Im glad to hear that dude, your setup looks absolutely kickass btw
After messing with this mod a bit more today i can say its probably one of my favourite mods so far. Also heres a big block powered street drag barstow i built using this and a few other mods.
that thing looks absolutely baller that can't be because of my mod, some other mod is probably messing that up definitely clear cache or try deactivating some mods
this has to be my new favourite mod on the repo, the attention to detail and customization is incredible, though a small suggestion I have is would it be possible to have sideways engines like something you'd see on the wendover or legran for the smaller engines? I feel like that'd be pretty cool
The engines that the Wendover and Legran have are mounted sideways (transversally) because those are FF cars (Front-engine, Front-wheel drive), not because of the aesthetics of the engine bay. This layout has everything mechanical in the front of the car (engine, gearbox, differential), and it has some advantages compared to a FR car (front-engine, rear-wheel drive car) Mounting a V8 sideways on car that has a longitudinal engine layout isn't gonna work, it's unneccesarily complicated. All the cars that this mod touches are FR cars with longitudinally mounted engines, so mounting the engine sideways and making the car drive would require heavy modifications, for no real gain, unless you want to make a front wheel drive Moonhawk, or Barstow, etc.
Dang man, trying out some Engine combinations on the 'Tracksport' (awesome variation of the Barstow) and settled on at time of this post amongst other upgrades the '445cui / Supercharger / and the Gasser Exhaust which gives it a raw and rowdy V8 sound, and couple this with a Race 6-Speed Manual Transmission makes for a very entertaining drive....change of underwear required...LOL...thanks again Javi, this makes my Sim Racing / Driving Hobby a pleasure with this kind of quality product.
