It basically means that you can use model from a number of .dae files, whereas currently you can only use one .dae file per vehicle. It enables the use of common parts among vehicles (i.e for my AE86, suspension components and such will be in one .dae, coupe/liftback/Trueno/Levin will each have their own .dae and so on)
Well thats what i basically known before. I just wanted to know how i can use this feature. Is their something in the wiki? Oh and i love the new collision update *-*
Just have a look at the official cars. Their wheels uses MultiDae (means the wheels are not in the same dae as the car, but in the wheels.dae in the common folder). Look at their wheel Jbeam file, in the flexbody category and you will see how it works.
I know gabe doesn't want us messing with his cars since they aren't finished. But i love playing with these files lol. Just some tasteful little modifications here and there. So far ive gave it a lip, rolled the fenders (prepared for slammin) side skirts and matched the rear bumper up to the rest of the body lines. Wanted to make a big sti style wing but thats where i discovered that im terrible at blender lol.
Yeah I guess so . Cardinal799 and messerschmitt1 heard me getting angry at them on Skype Sunburst derby.I have 2 wheels left, still trying to immobilize the last car (imported from here)
